Welcome to the homepage of the 12th International Vilnius Conference on Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics and 2018 IMS Annual Meeting on Probability and Statistics which will take place in Vilnius (Lithuania), July 2, 2018 -- July 6, 2018. On behalf of Vilnius University, Lithuanian Mathematical Society, and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, the organizers invite you to attend the conference. The Vilnius Conferences on Probability and Mathematical Statistics have a long and successful history. The first one was held in 1973, and they subsequently took place approximately every 4 years. During the four decades, Vilnius conferences have provided an important venue for our science. The IMS annual conferences are organized in odd years, jointly with the American Statistical Societies, the Joint Statistical Meetings, and in even years either together with the Bernoulli Society, with another Society, or by the IMS alone. The 2018 Conference will provide opportunities for presentations on a wide range of theoretical and applied topics, and recognizes the important role of probability and statistics in science and our society.
